This type of genius piece of furniture is thought to only exist in Sweden. During the 1800, it was quite common to invent furniture that either had a dual purpose or had a design that meant you could change its size, such as the gate-leg table. This bench folds out with the help of hinges in the seat, to be transformed into a table. The legs are slotted in to corresponding holes, which means that there is a bit of movement in the legs, but it´s in very good condition and we are pretty sure that the paint work is original.
