Beautifully painted smaller chest with green metal décor and side handles. This utterly charming chest is dated 1787 and has a wonderful patina and aged, soft lid, which bears testament to its handling through the years. We have left the lock and key loose inside the box as they were not working, but the lock is not really needed.
